Public Hearing Notice for Local Sales and Use Tax for Transportation
Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 297A.993, the Dodge County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Commissioners Board Room located at 721 Main Street North, Mantorville, MN to consider the adoption of a Local Option Sales Tax for Transportation. This would be a ½ percent sales tax levied on all products currently subject to sales tax in Dodge County and dedicated entirely to transportation related projects as outlined within the Transportation Capital Improvement Plan.
All interested persons may appear and be heard at the public hearing either orally or in writing, or may file written comments with the County Administrator or County Engineer prior to the public hearing.
