Co Rd 21 Nears Completion The concrete paving portion of the Co Rd 21 project has been completed.  The contractor will begin the finishing work this week with the hope of completing the project in its entirety by the end of the month.  The road remains closed to through traffic and only allows one-way traffic from south to north to those with destinations along Co Rd 21.  For the safety of everyone, please do not move or drive around the barricades, especially those within the intersections.  There have been several near misses as people try to travel the wrong way within the construction zone.

Co Rd 21 Project Update Paving on Co Rd 21 has been suspended for a few days to allow the recently poured concrete time to cure sufficiently. The contractor plans to begin prepping the shoulders on Monday and Tuesday next week and then finish up the paving the remainder of the week. The road is still restricted to one-way traffic going northbound.

Co Rd 21 Paving Update Weather and mechanical failure prevented the contractor from accomplishing much last week.  The plan is for paving to begin again tomorrow when the weather looks to be favorable.

Paving of Co Rd 21 Crews have begun paving the southbound lane on Co Rd 21.  Traffic is still restricted to one way going from south to north.  If you must travel in this area, be prepared for a lot of truck traffic and congestion as crews work to pour concrete.  Please be patient, follow directions, and use caution.  Do not at any time cross into the southbound lane unless you are directed to.

Transfer Station/Recycling Center Now Open for Business! The Dodge County Transfer Station and Recycling Center has re-opened with regular business hours today. The road is still under construction and is one-lane one-way from Kasson to Mantorville. Please watch for signs as to where you can enter the facility. The Blue Recycling bins will be moved back to the south side of the Recycling Center today also. Thanks for your patience.

Co Rd 21 reduced to one lane Traffic on Co Rd 21 has been reduced to one lane and one-way traffic.  You may only travel Co Rd 21 from the south going north. Also, the Transfer Station is closed until August 6 to allow for paving.  The bike trail along Co Rd 21 is opened but travel at your own risk as it is within the construction zone and portions of it has been impacted by the construction.

CSAH 21 (8th Ave NW) Resurfacing Work on CSAH 21 will begin on Monday, June 19 with the contractor removing the existing road surface between 5th St NW and 12th St. NW in Kasson.  

After the road surface has been removed, the contractor will work to install new sewer and water.  This is expected to take several weeks.

The road will be closed to through traffic during this project.  Please use an alternate route.
