The Dodge County Highway Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the county roads and bridges.

Routine county highway maintenance includes road repair, grading, drainage, signing, snow removal, ice control, and minor road improvements. Budgeting and accounting of all construction and maintenance is accomplished and reported annually.

The highway department is also responsible for issuing permits, rural addressing, maintaining county highway maps, applying dust control, updating road restrictions, and may be contacted to install rural mailbox posts with the swing-away arm.

The Dodge County Highway Department along with Stonebrooke Engineering are creating an ADA Transition Plan. To see a draft of this plan please click here
