After enjoying a pancake breakfast and other activities at Hogfest in Claremont on Sunday, Aug. 8, drive over to 13939 640th St., Claremont and watch antique tractors pull plows across a field. They’ll start up about noon.
It’s an old-time farm day Jeff Gray started a few years ago and he’s had a lot of fun with it. Jeff enjoys working on old tractors and after the pea crop is out, he encourages people to plow the field with their old machines.
Jacob, Jeff’s son, reminds everyone to come to the event even if they don’t have a plow or tractor and there will be old equipment there to try out. Just find Jeff or Jacob.
