The Kasson Festival in the Park is one of the largest city festivals in the area. This is the 32nd year for the event which headquarters at Veterans Memorial Park.
Activities include a medallion hunt; softball, cornhole, and golf tournaments; food vendors; inflatables; live bands; craft show; scavenger hunt; helicopter ball drop; bingo; pedal pull; sidewalk chalk judging; belly flop contest; a parade; fireworks and more. All over town, residents host garage sales.
