Dodge County Environmental Services received funding from the Clean Water,  Land, and Legacy fund to have the Conservation Corps of MN & IA clean up the Middle Fork Zumbro River. The "cleaning" involves removing any debris from the water course in order to make it passable by canoe or kayak.

This stretch of the Middle Fork Zumbro is about 5.5 miles long and mainly runs along Dodge County Road 24 from Dodge County Road 11 to Olmsted County Road 3. This stretch is also part of the DNR State Water Trail meaning it is open to the public for recreation!

Work will begin October 1st, 2022.
