The Big Iron Classic Truck show held at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Kasson attracts hundreds of bobtail trucks and tractor-trailer rigs each year. The show coincides with Marigold Days in Mantorville so between the two, there is entertainment for everyone in the family.

The show has become the largest ‘working-class’ truck show in the Midwest.

There is no charge to the public for any events except the truck pull, which is Saturday night at 6 p.m. The organizers do encourage those attending any of the show to bring new toys to donate.

Friday night starting at dusk, all the trucks have their lights on creating an impressive light show. The light show lasts for a couple of hours and is open to the public.

Saturday afternoon, there is always a ‘Parade of Big Rigs’ from Kasson, through Byron and back through Mantorville arriving there about 3:30 p.m.

There is also live music both nights.
