Beginning on Feb. 16, voters can go into the Elections Office at the Government Services Building, 721 Main St. N., Mantorville, fill out an application, receive their ballot, and they may then vote the ballot directly into a DS200 Precinct Counter. Accounting Services Director Sara Marquardt explained that this is a great option to avoid errors on the part of the voter and it is another option to voting ahead of election day using absentee voting. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office will also be open for direct balloting and/or absentee voting on Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Monday March 4, the office will be open until 5 p.m. for those same purposes
